Bible Camp in a Bag

Virtual Bible Camp

Bible Camp in a Bag has been part of our response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

When the virus began spreading we immediately implemented public health and safety measures.  As travel restrictions were put in place it became clear that we would not be able to run in-person Bible Camps.

Wanting to ensure that we could still serve each of the communities we work with, we quickly pivoted to the production of a Virtual Bible Camp which became known as Bible Camp in a Bag.

These innovative kits included printed materials, craft-making supplies such as scissors, tape, pencils, crayons, coloured paper and more!

The amazing On Eagle’s Wings volunteers recorded story and song videos on their phones, and these were copied onto USB sticks and DVDs for distribution.

Over 400 kits were sent North, from Fort Chipewyan in northern Alberta to Grise Fiord at the very top of the world!

You Can Help

With Bible Camp in a Bag proving so successful, we have decided to continue the program in addition to our regular in person Bible Camps.

As a result, we need volunteers to help record song and story videos, prepare Bible Camp in a Bag kits, and help with logistics and distribution. Sound like fun?  Get involved today 🙂
